self-made electronic tools in assisting music making and compositional writing

photoresistor-operated circuit

This two-part circuit can be used as an instrument for performance or for generating compositional ideas. Its core sound-building method is to influence a photoresistor connected to the oscillator using LED light, thereby changing the pitch and speed.

microtonal harmonizer

Developed in the Max/MSP environment, this microtonal harmonizer was originally designed as a tool for harmony writing. It generates random frequencies within a user-defined range and supports customizable microtonal divisions (quarter-tone, sixth-tone, or eighth-tone), voice count, spectral content and envelopes per voice, and individual as well as overall amplitude control.
